Sensurround Q. Catgirl is the nom de plume of @ShamashAran on X, who values her privacy, largely because it allows her to write about whatever she pleases without having to explain herself to people who might recognize her at the grocery store, or at work.

She writes about a wide variety of subjects, many of which are virtually guaranteed to make someone angry. This is not necessarily her intention, although she admits it is sometimes a pleasant side effect.

When not writing political commentary, engaging in recreational ragebait on X, or inventing increasingly complicated romantic problems for fictional witches and wizards, Sensurround enjoys amateur radio, automotive repair, electronics, programming, and various other hobbies involving the disassembly of expensive equipment.

She lives with her husband, two dogs, and two cats, all of whom have thus far demonstrated remarkably little interest in her literary accomplishments.
